The roots of the company go back to 1977. Jack Henderson recognized the desire of homeowners to have an alternative to exterior storm windows so he designed and manufactured a new product... interior storm windows. Jack's daughter, Debby came into the business right away. When names for the new company were being considered, Debby told Jack that,
"...a son who works as hard as I do would have equal billing",
and so Henderson & Daughter was named.
